At St George’s, we provide our children with the opportunity to learn the skills required to be a successful designer. We encourage pupils to discover an interest in design and technology, allowing them to critically engage with construction and planning and providing opportunities for them to create and evaluate a range of products.
In their DT lessons, we enable learners to access a range of materials in order to understand their properties, provide opportunities for children to use the correct tools and materials to create their own products and ensure an understanding that measuring and precision are the key to success!
